Brilliant Humans workshop in session

Leadership, Communication, Teams & Marketing

Four pillars.
One approach.

These aren’t separate products. They are four dimensions of the same integrated approach to how organisations perform brilliantly — and the evidence behind all of them points to exactly the same place.

“The data is clear. The qualities that make people brilliant are the same qualities that make organisations perform.

Where we work.

Every engagement we run is grounded in research — our own original study and the converging evidence from Gallup, the Global Workplace Happiness Report 2026, and the IC Index 2026. The pillars reflect where the data says organisations are losing ground, and where the greatest opportunity to perform brilliantly lies.

01

Brilliant Leadership

From functional expert to genuine leader.

For founders, CEOs, and senior leaders who are brilliant at what they do but know that leading people well is a different discipline entirely. We work on leadership presence and authentic communication; building psychological safety and high-trust environments; the human behaviours that drive team performance; and the transition from being the expert in the room to being the person who makes everyone else inspired.

Evidence anchor — Google Project Aristotle

The single strongest predictor of team performance is psychological safety — not talent density, not team composition. The conditions matter more than the credentials.

02

Brilliant Communication

Speak with authority. Land the message. Move people.

For leaders who want to present with real authority and communicate with conviction — in the room, on stage, and across the organisation. We work on presenting under pressure and in high-stakes environments; strategic narrative and message architecture; all-hands, town halls, and leadership communications; and managing communication through change. The gap between what leaders think they are saying and what people actually hear is almost always wider than anyone realises.

Evidence anchor — IC Index 2026

Only 32% of UK employees rate their organisation’s communication as excellent. The organisations that score highest are those where leaders are visible, empathetic, and act on feedback.

03

Brilliant Teams

Building the conditions where brilliant people do brilliant work.

For leaders who want to build teams that are genuinely high-performing — not just technically capable. We work on team dynamics, trust, and psychological safety; how to diagnose and unlock performance blockers; and building the conditions for innovation, belonging, and sustained output. High performance is not about hiring the best people. It is about building the environment where people can be their best.

Evidence anchor — Gallup 2026

Manager engagement has fallen from 27% to 22% in a single year. The quality of the direct manager remains the strongest predictor of team performance — and right now, managers are struggling.

Brilliant Marketing

Senior marketing leadership without the full-time hire.

For founder-led and PE-backed B2B businesses that need experienced marketing thinking without the overhead of a full-time CMO. We work on go-to-market strategy and positioning; brand and narrative architecture; demand generation and pipeline; and building and leading marketing teams that can execute with precision and pace.

Evidence anchor — Global Workplace Happiness Report 2026

Improving customer experience increases revenue by roughly 7% and shareholder return by 10%. But customer experience improves only when people believe in the organisation’s product or service — and that starts with marketing.

This is for you if…

We work with a specific type of organisation and a specific type of leader. Not because we don’t believe we can help everyone, but because we do our best work — and our clients get the most value — when the fit is right.

The sweet spot is when an organisation is truly committed to human brilliance. When its leaders believe that performing brilliantly and leading with humanity aren’t in tension — they are the same thing. When they are ready to act on that belief, not just agree with it.

Founders and CEOs who are exceptional at what they built, but recognise that leading a growing organisation demands a different set of skills than building one.

Senior leaders who have been promoted for functional excellence but know that people leadership is a different discipline — and want to close that gap deliberately.

Leadership teams where the culture, communication, or performance isn’t keeping pace with the ambition — and where the right intervention, applied at the right moment, would change the trajectory.

Businesses that need senior marketing thinking without a full-time hire — typically at a growth inflection point, a PE acquisition, or a moment of significant market change.

If any of that sounds familiar, we should talk.

Brilliant Humans in action

Three ways to work together.

We keep the engagement model simple and honest. Three formats, each designed for a different moment in an organisation’s journey. No retainer lock-ins you can’t get out of. No scope that inflates beyond what you actually need.

01

Workshop

1 to 2 days

A focused, facilitated session, built around one of the four pillars — Leadership, Communication, Teams, or Marketing. Workshops are designed to shift thinking, surface what is really going on, and leave the team with something concrete to act on. They work best when there is a specific challenge, transition, or conversation that needs a dedicated space.

02

Programme

6 weeks to 6 months

A structured engagement with defined outcomes — focused on a single pillar or spanning multiple pillars in combination, depending on what the moment requires. Programmes are built around your organisation’s specific situation, not a template applied from the outside. They move at the pace that creates real change, not the pace that feels comfortable.

03

Advisory

Ongoing retained relationship

A retained relationship, typically 1–2 days per month, working across all four pillars as priorities evolve. Advisory works for founders and senior leaders who want a thinking partner with direct experience of the commercial and human challenges they are navigating — someone who can ask the questions that don’t get asked in the room.

Every engagement starts with a conversation. No agenda, no sales pitch. If there’s something worth building together, we’ll both know by the end of it.

“Performance is not a strategy. It is the outcome of doing the human things well.
